CORE Skills

The development of Core Skills is a central focus in each Ranger’s progression, and intended to provide the knowledge base and confidence necessary for God-centered, principled, rugged manhood.  All Rangers focus on the same seven Core Skills, but with ever-increasing levels of proficiency and intensity.  Each Core Skill comprises Primary tasks and associated Challenge-Based Testing (CBT) classroom and field scenarios.  Development in each Core Skill is further aided by training in Supplemental Tasks.  Successful completion of the CBT results in award of the corresponding Core Skill Tab.  Tab colors mirror the hat colors of each Ranger rank
